Between October 2023 and January 2024, thousands of education sector workers across Canada completed the Violence & Harassment Against Educators survey. The goal of this study was to document the prevalence of, and response to, different types of violence and harassment experienced by workers in the education sector. Specific aims included examining how rates and impacts have changed since the pandemic and understanding the unique experiences of equity-deserving and sovereignty-seeking groups (e.g., Indigenous, disabled, Black, 2SLGBTQAI+).
